Exhibition Opening: Thomas Buford Meteyard (1865-1928): Travels Through Impressionism
Thomas Buford Meteyard (1865-1928): Travels Through Impressionism will include over fifty of Meteyard’s works, including paintings, watercolors, and works on paper, as well as books and other publications to which he contributed designs and illustrations. The show will explore Meteyard’s travels through French and American Impressionism and his relationships with contemporary avant-garde artists and writers of various styles.
Attendees are invited to preview the gallery at 5:30 pm before a 30-minute presentation by the exhibition’s curator David Dearinger at 6 pm. The event will conclude with a wine and cheese reception beginning at 6:30 pm.
