Culinary Discussion Group

Culinary Discussion Group

The Culinary Discussion Group provides a setting for those Athenæum members with a particular interest on food.

Discussions are designed to advance the knowledge of food and cookery and to deepen our appreciation of the place of the culinary arts in history, society and culture. The discussion group will meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00.

WINTER/SPRING 2012

Hello Foodies,

Hope you all experienced  a fun  and food filled summer!!!  So it's that time of year again and I have some really delicious ideas for this Fall's Season of discussions!  Most importantly, the Culinary Discussion Group has moved to Wednesday evenings, beginning at 6PM. Please note I will contact you all as a reminder a week or so before we meet!

Sept. 14th Wed @6

Oct 5th Wed @6

Nov 2nd Wed @6

Dec 7th Wed @6 (Pearl Harbor Day)

I will send off the "topics" for the evening accordingly! So if anyone wants to head the group/ideas
on what you would like to discuss.  Let me know!

One of our very own Culinary fans has come up with a dashing idea!  Let's make our very own "cookbook"!  I would like everyone to bring a "recipe" and it's "story"-since the cookbook will be called "Recipe Tales" We will discuss it further in September!

See you there!

Cheers,

Mary Trumbull
