Athenæum Young Patrons
Young Patrons of the Boston Athenæum
Members who are 35 years of age or younger are eligible for the special membership group called Young Patrons. Not only is this membership offered at a reduced rate, but we also provide special programming each year to the Athenæum's Young Patrons.
We have two levels of Young Patron Membership:
- $200 Young Patron Individual Membership—for an individual 35 years of age or younger
- $225 Young Patron Family Membership—for a couple or household, where at least one member of the couple is 35 years of age or younger. These family memberships include library cards for all children living in the household at no additional cost.
To join as a Young Patron of the Boston Athenæum please complete an online application or print out an application and mail it to us.

Hops to Wheat - Associate Members' Beer Tasting at the Boston Athenæum

Associate members of the Athenæum joined us for a beer tasting at the Boston Athenæum. Members and their guests sampled the latest spring offerings from local brewers Pretty Things Beer and Ale Project, Blue Hills Brewery, and
Cambridge Brewing Company, paired with cheeses from around the world.

The Fifteenth Annual April Fools' Reception

The April Fools' Reception is an annual event just for Young Patrons of the Boston Athenæum.

Associates' Exhibition Reception - Elegant Enigmas: The Art of Edward Gorey
Wednesday, February 16, 2011, 6:00 - 8:00p.m.
Associate members of the Athenæum joined us for a special reception to celebrate the opening of the enormously popular Edward Gorey exhibition. Due to the success of this exhibition reception especially for our youngest cohort of members, we have made it a tradition.
