The first floor Long and Bow Rooms are open for rental for individual and corporate functions. The Boston Athenæum’s unique atmosphere makes a splendid setting for corporate presentations, private dinners, receptions, and the like.*

Capacity is 80 people for a seated event and 150 people for a reception. The event space is available for rental most evenings, after 5:30 p.m. to avoid conflict with the library’s normal operations, and on Sunday. The fee for rental is $5,200.00. A list of approved vendors can be found below. The Athenæum also offers a full range of state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment for presentations, music, and video.
