Emily C. Burns is Assistant Professor of Art History at Auburn University. Her scholarship analyzes transnational artistic and cultural exchange between France and the United States in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Her book, Transnational Frontiers: The American West in France, is forthcoming from University of Oklahoma Press in May 2018.
