#AskAConservator on Facebook Live
with the Boston Athenaeum Conservation Team
Join our conservators live from the lab to celebrate #AskaConservator Day, an advocacy initiative through The Foundation for Advancement in Conservation. They'll take your questions, show you what they're working on, and talk about what it takes to provide the best care for a vast library full of books, works on paper, and photographs.
- Chief Conservator Dawn Walus
- Paper Conservator Tatiana Cole
- Book Conservator Graham Patten
- Collections and Exhibition Technician Melissa Krok-Horton (not in photo)
How to join:
Visit our Facebook page at 11AM ET on November 18. You'll see videos posted of the team in action, and be able to share comments and questions.
At 12 noon, the team will start a live video on that page, answering your questions and showing you the lab in real time.
Auto-generated captions are available for most virtual programs. To request live captioning or other accommodations, please contact Hannah Weisman at firstname.lastname@example.org or 617-720-7617 at least four business days prior to the event.
