Virtual Event: Civic Learning Week Open House for Educators
Educators of all grade levels are invited to join Director of Education Hannah Weisman for an introduction to the Boston Athenæum, a chance to view materials in the library's Special Collections related to active citizenship in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and an opportunity to network with each other.

Prior to serving as the Athenæum’s director of education, Hannah Weisman worked at The Farmers’ Museum (NY), Shelburne Museum (VT), and Historic Newton. She holds a master’s degree in museum studies from the Cooperstown Graduate Program. When she’s not at the BA, she can be found volunteering for SpeakEasy Stage Company or teaching a community tai chi class.
This program is offered as part of Civic Learning Week. The week's free programs and activities are hosted by the Massachusetts Civic Learning Coalition in partnership with teachers, students, and Coalition members from across the Commonwealth.
