IN-PERSON PRESENTATION: Curator's Choice: Spooky Show & Tell
with Christina Michelon
Join Dr. Christina Michelon for a spooky show & tell featuring highlights from the BA's special collections. Ranging from early magic and demonology texts to spirit photographs and representations of the famed Granary Burying Ground (the historic cemetery that lies just beyond the Athenaeum’s walls), Dr. Michelon will unearth some of the creepiest collection items that lurk in storage. Learn more about what haunts the Athenæum in this immersive and interactive presentation just in time for Halloween!

She specializes in nineteenth-century American visual and material culture and received her PhD in Art History from the University of Minnesota.
