VIRTUAL PRESENTATION: Curators' Choice: Re-Reading Special Collections

Join members of the Special Collections department for a first look at the Athenæum’s new permanent collection installation, Re-Reading Special Collections. Opening later this fall in the Henry Long Room, a generous grant from the Terra Foundation for American Art made this project possible. Including a diverse array of rare books, works on paper, paintings and sculptures, the installation brings new research and innovative interpretation to lesser-known and beloved materials alike. The program will include short presentations by Christina Michelon, PhD, Virginia Reynolds Badgett, PhD, Lauren Graves, PhD, and Jamie Rose Valera on highlights from the new installation.
