The Boston Athenæum offers a robust schedule of programming throughout the year that offers Athenæum members and the public opportunities to learn about the institution’s collections, current research in the arts and humanities, and a range of perspectives on historical and contemporary issues.
Our programming team wants to know your thoughts. What topics, themes, and big ideas would you like to see explored in Athenæum programs? Join Director of Education, Hannah Weisman, for one or both of our programming meetings this year to share your thoughts. Meetings will be held on:
- Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 6 p.m.
- Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 8:30 a.m.
- Friday, April 5, 2019 at 12 p.m.
Contact Hannah Weisman at firstname.lastname@example.org or 617-720-7617 to register for one or more of the meetings.
Programming meetings will focus on big ideas, but we also welcome recommendations for specific programs. If you have a suggestion for a specific speaker or event, please complete our online event recommendation form or stop by the circulation desk the next time you are at the Athenæum to request a hard copy of the form.
