Many departments at the Athenæum host interns, including the Conservation Laboratory. For almost ten years, the Library has provided internship and fellowship opportunities for aspiring conservation professionals. The Athenæum's conservation fellowship for recent graduates of North Bennet Street School’s Bookbinding program is underwritten by the Michael and Louisa von Clemm Foundation, Inc. Three former Von Clemm Fellows and one former intern, all of whom have established successful careers in conservation, will join a panel discussion about their current and future work, and how their Athenæum experiences influenced their growth.
