We're pleased to welcome members, Day Pass users, and the public, who can tour the first floor of our landmark building and see artworks from the special collections.

Experience Boston's historic library and cultural center. We're located at 10½ Beacon Street—near the State House, Boston Common, and the Park Street T.

9 a.m.–8 p.m.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

9 a.m.–9 p.m.

Friday and Saturday

9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Visitor Admission to the First Floor
Adults (ages 13 and up) $8
Students and Military $6
Children (ages 12 and under) Free
Boston Athenæum Members Free
Reduced admission fees in effect while the Norma Jean Calderwood Gallery is closed.
First floor admission is free the second Saturday of every month!
Full Building Admission for Non-Members
